A downloadable game for Windows

Substack

Get ready for an unforgettable first-person experience with "Neon Abyss"! In this action-packed game, shoot your way through forgotten arcade monsters in an everchanging 3D maze filled with forgotten arcade monsters.

Your goal is simple: survive as long as possible while battling your way through hordes of retro monsters in a destructible maze. With each run, you'll come back more powerful, allowing you to venture deeper into the maze and encounter new challenges.

Neon Abyss will strive to be a game that keeps you on the edge of your seat, with its intense gameplay and ever-changing environment.

AI-Generated Mockups(Not using these commercially just to give an overall vibe until I get real screenshots):

AlphaV3 Controls:

Shoot - Left  Mouse

Aim - Right Mouse

Jump - Space

Pause - M

Change Weapon - Q

Skills tree upgrades have not been limited at all so it can become broken very quickly

Jetpack - 2x Space / hold

Not actively developing anymore. Built this as a proof of concept to test a market and decided to take this in another direction.

Hey, let me know if you’re interested in a partner for this project! I’d like to boost my resume by helping out on Unreal games.

Hey, thanks for the offer.
However at this time, I really only need feedback on the game since I have a lot of the game's core mechanics finished up. Would love it if you did a recorded playtesting session.

Reach out if you are interested. I would love help but there really is not much to do in terms of this game, besides regular playtesting and balancing the mechanics.

Shoot me an email @ dmarcr1997@gmail.com and I will reach out when I am ready to start my next game.
